WHAT ELSE DO FAMILIES NEED TO KNOW?  WHY SHOULD THEY REGISTER NOW?
From a parent's perspective, the earlier you register, the earlier you are connected to the school system to ensure communication from the school to support you child. You are able to start planning on what the day will look like for your child and you as a family. Examples such as preparining your child for school norms, after school care, setting up any appointments you may need to do for your child prior to school starting (dentist, doctor, immunizations). Sometimes the paperwork is best to complete over a couple of days so you can consider who will be your emergency contacts. The district can support needs you may have such as uniforms and supplies.

HOW WILL DISTRICT PROVIDE ELECTRONIC ACCESS TO THOSE PARENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE IT AT HOME?
We are working with families to support this process both for registration and if there is continued online learning. Reach out to us for support at 330-761-2810

HOW IS THE SCHOOL PRACTICING SAFETY MEASURES FOR FACE-TO-FACE REGISTRATION?
Currently we are supporting and promoting onine registration from home and families are having much success with that process. If you have needs that we can help with, please call us at 330-761-2810. If a meeting is needed it will be in our Engagement Center at 10 N Main Street in Akron. All visitors to the Engagement Center must wear a mask, practice social distancing, and wash or disinfect hands frequently for your safety. We do have two registration kiosks set up in case there is an on site need, but again, please contact us to support the process and find the best solutions with you at 330-761-2810
