Cleveland Metropolitan School District's Lincoln-West JROTC Honored at Browns Veterans Day Event; Senior Army Instructor Wins Super Bowl Trip
Lincoln-West School of Science and Health's JROTC program proudly participated in a special Veterans Day event inspired by the
NFL’s Salute to Service
initiative. This event was made possible due to the District's participation in the
Stay in the Game Attendance Network - Browns. Congratulations to Senior Army Instructor, CSM Greene, as she was recognized as the winner and recipient of Super Bowl tickets, airfare, and hotel stay! This is a huge celebration for her and an inspiring reflection on her 32 years of military service.
Thanks to this recognition, this JROTC program was selected as a finalist for the
Cleveland Browns and
CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC Veterans Day Salute to Service Volunteer Opportunity. Scholars, along with Cleveland Browns player Wyatt Teller and the team mascot, came together to assemble care packages, write appreciation letters, and create fleece blankets for military members.
It was a meaningful day of giving back and honoring those who serve. Thank you to everyone who made this day possible!
