Richmond Heights Students Build Creativity and Skills in Makerspace

Richmond Heights Makerspace students recently put their creativity to work by sewing their own drawstring bags from start to finish. Throughout the project, students learned how to operate sewing machines, measure and maintain seam allowances, and even design and cut their own patterns.

This hands-on project not only encouraged creativity but also helped students strengthen practical problem-solving and design skills. The Richmond Heights Local Schools community is proud of these young makers for combining innovation and craftsmanship in such a meaningful way.
