Secondary Transition Planning Done Right!

Description:  

From Age Appropriate Transition Assessments (AATA) to positive postsecondary outcomes, this day-long workshop will provide participants with best/evidence-based practices in secondary transition, as well as the opportunity to practice skills learned through a case study format. Starting with Kohler’s Taxonomy 2.0, the day's agenda will follow the Indicator 13 Checklist, which lists eight areas for high-quality secondary transition plans.


This professional learning comes with SST 3 on-site embedded coaching and support for participating LEAs.  Following the training, participants will be provided monthly coaching sessions to provide onsite Indicator 13 Checklist review of secondary transition plans, as well as technical assistance on ensuring that the transition services/activities being provided are addressing the needs of each student in closing the gap between present levels and postsecondary goals.

Invite only limited to:

LEAs with Indicator 1 and 2 findings and LEAs that may be at-risk for Indicator 1 and/or 2 findings based on the 23-24 SPP

Special Education Directors & Supervisors, and Building Administrators from

LEAs with Service Delivery Agreements and Indicator 1 and 2 findings
