How does it feel to be an individual who struggles to read?
Join us for a Struggling Reader Simulation opportunity, where participants will
experience the challenges struggling readers confront when performing
language-related tasks.
Participants are guided through six learning tasks
commonly encountered in the classroom or workplace.
The purpose of this hands-on professional learning
session is to improve understanding and encourage the
use of evidence-based instructional teaching practices.
This 1-day learning session consists of a 2-hour
struggling reader simulation and debrief in the morning,
and an afternoon of discussion about effectively
supporting the academic needs of struggling readers.
