This series is intended for teams of district
leaders at the building and central office levels
of locals school districts. Teams could include
building & district literacy decision makers,
with implementation teams to review and plan
for integrity in literacy implementation.
Improving literacy across a school or district
requires clear and unified efforts. The Literacy
Improvement Pathway consists of ten
purposely ordered areas of focus and can be
leveraged to improve student literacy
outcomes.
Participants will gain an understanding of the
critical importance of each stop on the
pathway through a review of evidence-based
practices, systems, and related resources to
assist with leading literacy change in a school
or district.
Join this important series as a literacy team,
committee, curriculum team, or even as an
individual who influences the path of literacy
improvement at your site. We will explore,
discuss, collaborate, and examine shifts in
practices and systems that will impact student
success.
