Warrensville Heights Elementary fifth grade scholars are in an organization called Dancing Classrooms.

On February 26th, they participated in the semi-finals at the Arnold Pickney East Professional Center. Our proud tiger dancers have advanced to the grand finals called the "Colors of the Rainbow" team match. To prepare for these competitions the fifth graders participate in a 10 week ballroom dancing class, they learn dances like the meringue, the fox trot and swing dancing , and 12 students out of the entire 5th grade are chosen to go to the finals and semi finals. To qualify to participate scholars need to have exceptional attendance, and they also have to show that they can work together as a team.

Their coach for the team is Mrs. Tebble Dickerson, our primary math specialist and Mrs. Shawn Jones our fifth grade ELA teacher.
