Students representing Shaker Heights Schools and the MAC Scholars Program recently attended the Multicultural Student Action Network (MSAN) Student Conference at Michigan State University. This year’s conference theme was “Leaving Our Legacy.” Shaker students created an action plan to improve school climate, with a focus on fostering a sense of belonging for all students at Shaker. 

The MAC Scholars and Sister Scholars who attended the conference are Michael Ratcliffe, Carlos Colon, Penda Gassama, Zuri Bakagas, Korei Washington and Addison Captain.
