Maple Heights senior marketing students claimed first place in the Financial Flex Academic Challenge sponsored by Breadwinners Academy, defeating teams from John Adams, Cleveland Heights, and the Cleveland School of the Arts.

Each student received a trophy, certificate, and $500 personal check for their outstanding performance in the competition.

Dr. Carmen was acknowledged for arranging the opportunity, while Dr. Griffin was recognized for preparing the students. Breadwinners Academy received thanks for sponsoring the event and supporting the scholars.
