Kensani Letang, a Richmond Heights High School senior, has won first place in the Ohio Civil Rights Commission's 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Art, Essay & Multimedia Contest for the twelfth-grade essay category.

Letang's entry was selected from submissions across Ohio. He received recognition during an awards ceremony held in Columbus.

The student was commended for his writing, which was described as contributing to Dr. King's legacy.
