Garfield Heights' Elementary Students Participate in Little Library Ribbon-Cutting

Students from Mrs. Favitta’s classes at Maple Leaf participated in a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for the school’s brand-new Little Free Library.

Thanks to Mrs. Favitta’s dedicated efforts, Maple Leaf was selected as one of only 200 schools to receive a free Little Library.

To celebrate this exciting achievement, students cut the ribbon, selected a free book to read on the lawn, and enjoyed ice cream to mark the occasion.

The Little Free Library will be stocked year-round with free books for both students and the community, promoting a shared love of reading and lifelong literacy.
