Thanks to a grant from the Education Foundation, students at Grindstone Elementary demonstrated leadership and empathy through the Blankets of Love project. They created fleece tie blankets for BCSD students in need and for the Sleep in Heavenly Peace bedding drive, helping children in our community stay warm and comfortable.

Giving a blanket is more than just providing warmth. It is a way to show care, kindness, and support, making sure every recipient feels valued. Through this project, students learned the power of giving back and saw firsthand how their actions can positively impact others.
