A strong turnout of Brooklyn students and families attended the district’s annual Bike Rodeo & Touch-a-Truck event at Brooklyn School on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Families enjoyed the sunny, spring weather while participating in a variety of fun activities, which included a bicycle skills course, snacks and refreshments, prizes and giveaways, face painting, and music provided by a DJ. Brooklyn families were also able to meet members of Brooklyn’s Safety Forces and get an up-close look at city service vehicles. Altogether, it was an amazing day for our Brooklyn School community! A special thank you to our Brooklyn Safety Forces and Brooklyn Schools staff for making this worthwhile event possible for our students and families.
