Lakewood High School's First Ring Student Leadership Institute students had the opportunity to meet the State of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine during a press conference with the district's superintendent, Maggie Niedzwiecki, and board of education members. The Governor was at the school to announce the district's Ohio Safety Grant, but the superintendent was so impressed with the FRSLI team, she invited them to attend and present their research project to the Governor themselves. They were even interviewed by a local television station.  "It's really exciting to see how the students represented themselves and their work with this project," said Assistant Principal April Patton, Lakewood High School
