Bedford City School District's Heskett Middle School Counselors Receive State Recognition Award

The Ohio School Counselor Association is pleased to announce that Bedford City School District's Heskett Middle School has been recognized for their Ohio School Counselor Accountability Report (OSCAR).

The OSCAR demonstrates how student progress is facilitated by the hard work of school counselors.

School counselors are educators with master's degrees, who work with the entire student population on their academic, career, and personal/social development. They collaborate with parents, administrators and teachers in their work. 

The awards ceremony was Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the All Ohio Counselors Conference in Columbus.

Heskett school counselors Rebecca School and Laura Hogue accepted the award.
