Eight Shaker Heights Middle School students competed in the Power of the Pen Regional Tournament in Hudson, Ohio, where 34 middle schools in the area competed in a creative writing competition. The seventh-grade team finished in 3rd place, with Rosalie West earning an individual award, placing in the top 12 among all seventh-grade writers. The State tournament will be held in Ashland in May. Congratulations!
