South Euclid Lyndhurst Hosts New Student Lunch at Sunview Elementary School
The SEL Schools are home to wonderful and dedicated staff members who seek to help students succeed and grow every day.
This includes ensuring that new students in the district feel welcome and have a successful transition to start the school year. On Thursday, September 7th, Sunview Elementary counselor, Mrs. Cutler, Sunview Youth Development Specialist, Mr. Smith-Watkins and SEL Schools Social Worker, Mrs. Carlson, invited students in grades 1-3 who are new to Sunview to a special lunch!
At the lunch event, students got a chance to meet the Sunview student service team and get to know the new students in their grade. During the program, students played ‘getting to know you’ games such as the M&M game where students received a few M&Ms and answered fun questions about themselves based on the color of the M&M they had.
Participating students had a great time! The Sunview Elementary staff look forward to continuing to get to know our new Sunview Arcs!
