Several former and current Brooklyn High School students were recently recognized by the College Board for their exemplary performances on Advanced Placement (AP) Exams and other related areas of academic achievement. Class of 2024 graduates Iman Boukenken and Ayman Elouardighi were both named AP Scholars during the 2023-24 school year. Each student earned a score of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams to receive this prestigious recognition.
Brooklyn High School senior Danny Pham was recently granted the College Board National Recognition Award as a First-Generation Student. To qualify for this competitive award, Danny had to score in the top 10% of test takers from his award program in the State of Ohio on either the Fall 2023 PSAT/NMSQT (10th or 11th) or Spring PSAT 10 exams. In addition, the Brooklyn senior had to earn a score of 3 or higher on two or more distinct AP exams in the 9th and/or 10th grade and possess a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 at the time of submission. The College Board also recognized Danny with the AP Scholar with Honor award for receiving an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and achieving a score of 3 or higher on four or more of those exams.
These award recognitions reflect the academic achievement, hard work, and commitment to excellence of each of the above students. Congratulations to Iman Boukenken, Ayman Elouardighi, and Danny Pham on their impressive accomplishments and best wishes for continued success in the future!
