Brooklyn City Schools kicked off the 2024-25 school year with excitement and energy on Tuesday, August 20th. Administrators, teachers, and staff greeted students with smiles and high-fives as they entered the district campus for a new year of learning and growth. Student members of the Brooklyn High School Hurricane Leadership Academy set a positive example by greeting and spending time with our youngest students during morning arrival. Brooklyn Kindergarten students started the first of several transition days with a warm welcome by school administrators and teachers and an opportunity to explore their new school environment.
