Euclid High School Hosts Last Concert of the School Year

ith the end of the year drawing near, the Euclid High School Music Department hosted their last concert of the school year. Each music group that the high school has performed a few song selections, showing off the skills they've developed over the year.Between each group's performances, the directors took a few minutes to recognize the Senior members.
The String Orchestra opened the concert with three songs, highlighted by
Music of the Night by Andrew Lloyd Weber played by the senior members of the Orchestra. After being acknowledged, the Seniors also took a moment to honor Orchestra Teacher Mrs. Carol Thomas who is retiring at the end of the year.
The Concert Band took the stage next, delighting audience members with a theatrical mix of
The Avengers,
The Theme from Jurassic Park and Dr. Dre's
The Next Episode. The Jazz Band followed with three groovy songs by Oliver Nelson, James Brown and Bobby Caldwell.
After the instrumental portion of the evening finished, Choral Masters sung three beautiful songs.
Forte!, Euclid's elite choir, sang
Seasons of Love from the musical
Rent, highlighted by solos from Audrey Mocadlo and Jeremiah Schaffer.
To finish the show,
Varsity Chorale performed two new songs out of their repertoire,
Baby...Hit Me One More Time and
End of Time with all of the choreography designed by students R'Riel Hall, Javin Jackson, & Skyler Wells.
