Brooklyn Students Learn Life Skills During Visit to Downtown CLE
Recently, Daily Living Classes at Brooklyn High School have focused on learning how to use RTA transit and other independent living skills.
Students in the Daily Living classes at Brooklyn High School recently visited downtown Cleveland to conclude the end of their classroom learning unit. Over the past several weeks, the classes have focused on learning how to use RTA transit for transportation. During the field trip, students had the opportunity to use an all-day pass to ride an RTA bus to downtown Cleveland, hop on the Trolley for a drive through scenic Public Square, travel on the rapid to iconic Little Italy, and take the HealthLine bus route back to the school campus. Brooklyn students also practiced independent living skills by ordering food and purchasing lunch at the Rascal House restaurant. The field trip proved to be an engaging, informative, and fun learning experience for all students involved!
