As part of the school’s celebration of Black History Month, Adrian Elementary hosted a special story time event during the afternoon on Friday, February 16th. Adrian teachers switched classes for the event, with kindergarten and first grade teachers moving up to second and third grade, while second and third grade teachers went to kindergarten and first grade classrooms. Students gathered at their desks or on the carpet around the teacher to listen to an engaging story related to African American history and culture. Both students and staff enjoyed the opportunity to interact and look forward to completing a project-based learning activity together in honor of Black History Month during the following week!
