Garfield Heights American Sign Language Classes Enjoy Playhouse Square Field Trip

Garfield Heights students enrolled in American Sign Language (ASL) classes recently took a field trip to Playhouse Square!

On February 28, students in Mrs. Majors' American Sign Language 1, 2, & 3 classes went to Playhouse Square for a matinee performance of Shaun Boothe's Unauthorized Biography Series.  

Students enjoyed learning the stories of Dr. MLK, Jr., Barack Obama, Serena Williams and Malala Yousafzai, told through hip-hop songs and fully interpreted into ASL.
