Euclid's Marketing and Business Administration CTE Program Get Real Life Experience
Congratulations to the Euclid students in the Marketing and Business Administration CTE Program w
ho helped host and also participated in the recent DECA District competition at Mentor Paradigm. DECA is a Career Technical Student Organization that has a goal of preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
At this event, more than 400 students from 10 schools in the Cleveland area showcased their talents in diverse fields such as Accounting, Hospitality, Marketing and Management. The students participate in interviews and presentations with volunteer judges to replicate real-life scenarios in the business world.
The students’ dedication and hard work paid off with many Lakeshore Compact students earning awards and/or a chance to advance to the state-level competition in March.
Euclid Senior Alex A. took second place overall in the Apparel & Accessories Marketing Series and will be representing Euclid at the State Competition.
