Berea City School District is thrilled to announce that Berea-Midpark High School senior Christina Calvis has been named a Semifinalist in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. This prestigious recognition honors the academic excellence of students across the nation and highlights Christina's exceptional academic achievements.

The National Merit Scholarship Program identifies and commends high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies. Semifinalists are selected based on their performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), which serves as the initial screening for program entrants.

Christina's achievement reflects her dedication to academic excellence and her commitment to her education.
