Brooklyn HS students in Mrs. Kelly Marsico’s class had the exciting opportunity to participate with peers from other Chagrin Valley Conference Schools in the Inclusive Winter Sports Day program at Riverside High School on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. The program was coordinated by Empower Sports, a non-profit dedicated to developing social skills, self-esteem, and physical well-being for athletes of all ages and abilities. Participants competed in various basketball related drills and games with student athletes from visiting CVC schools. Everyone had a fun time and enjoyed a pizza lunch to conclude their time together. Thank you to Empower Sports and Riverside Schools for providing our students with an unforgettable experience with fellow peers!
