The 2023-2024 School Counselor/Social Worker Network meetings will take place on the following dates:

The meetings will run from 12:30 until 2:00 and will be in person at the ESC.

This year, we are excited to be partnering with Dr. Lisa Ramirez, Child and Adolescent Psychologist at MetroHealth, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Ramirez will lean into her experience in working with districts to lead participants in a discussion around a challenging de-identified case experienced by a school counselor and/or social worker. We will explore various aspects of the case, including what went well, existing gaps, systems that have been involved, and linkage to appropriate resources for students and families. We will touch on topics such as screening, release forms, ethics, roles and responsibilities, community mental health partnerships, reentry, and more.
